The City of DeWitt has been named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation to honor its commitment to its community forest. It is the twelfth year DeWitt has received this national recognition.

A DDA is a tax funded governmental entity designed to provide local municipalities with a vehicle to invest in downtowns to encourage investment. The DeWitt DDA has invested in infrastructure projects,
provides façade grants, hosts the Farmer’s Market and Annual Christmas Market among other events.
